Are bridal clutches/purses common for the bride to have on the wedding day?
My upcoming wedding starts at 4:30pm on a Sunday in June. It is formal, but not black tie and elegant. I have a beautiful wedding dress with a long train. Is it common for the bride to have a clutch/purse? Not to have for pictures of course but something to keep makeup in during the reception? Or should I have mom carry it in her bag? I've honestly never took notice while attending weddings. Thanks
It is not necessary but if you want to you can. You can either get your mum or your maid of honour to carry your things if you don't have a bag. I only had one because the day before the wedding I saw one that suited my dress and was cheap - so I bought it there and then! Lol... it wasn't essential though - I did put makeup etc in there but didn't ever use it! Just do what you want.
